About Nextgrid Hub Advisory

Kaohsiung-based turnaround advisors focused on underperforming business units across Taiwan since 2014.

Official business information

Registered name: Nextgrid Hub Advisory Co., Ltd.

Established: 2014

Registered office: Office 11, 62 Placeholder Street, Kaohsiung 00000, Taiwan

Nextgrid Hub Advisory was founded when a group of former operating executives and management consultants saw the same pattern repeat across Taiwan: headquarters set annual targets, unit leaders absorbed the pressure, and recovery plans arrived too late—after cash buffers were already thin.

We chose Kaohsiung as our base because many manufacturing, logistics, and regional distribution units sit in southern Taiwan, far from the Taipei boardrooms that set their numbers. Our advisors still spend most weeks on client sites, not in our office.

What we believe

Turnaround work is operational first. Spreadsheets matter, but they must reflect what happens on a shift, in a warehouse lane, or during a customer renewal call. We refuse engagements where leadership only wants a document to satisfy headquarters without committing to follow-through.

We also believe mild honesty builds trust. If a unit should prepare for divestiture rather than recovery, we say so early. Pretending every division can be saved wastes the years your people still have in that business.

Our team

Dr. Huang Yi-Chen — Managing Director. Former plant GM in precision machining; led two facility consolidations before moving to advisory work. Doctorate in industrial management from National Cheng Kung University.

Sarah Morrison — Senior Advisor. Fifteen years in consumer goods regional operations across Greater China; specializes in distribution unit recovery.

Wu Jia-Wei — Advisor, Finance & Cash. Ex-subsidiary CFO for a logistics group; builds the cash models that sit underneath every recovery plan.

Lin Pei-Shan — Engagement Manager. Coordinates site visits, data requests, and weekly cadence so client teams are not buried in admin during crises.

How we work with clients

Engagements begin with a short diagnostic call—not a sales pitch. If we proceed, we agree on scope, timeline, and who attends each working session. Weekly checkpoints are standard; daily messages only during active restructuring windows.

We do not take equity positions in client businesses and do not receive success fees tied to divestiture outcomes. Our fee is advisory only, which keeps recommendations independent.

Community and place

We participate in Kaohsiung industrial association roundtables on workforce retention during restructuring. Several of our advisors mentor MBA students at local universities on operating leadership—not consulting as a career, but running a unit under pressure.
